Life: Check - a poem by HLK

What is missing am I

missing something

must be done

Coil notebooks choked with

check-box to-dos carried forward,

jots, meeting notes, passwords.

Signs of success:

- A short list

- Focus and efficacy

- Calendar flexibility

- Control over time

- A calm mind

Lift thoughts out of the box

eat the pie chart,

ring the bell curve,

touch everyone’s bases,

and distill ideas to a point.

Because, at the end of the day,

it’s the end of the day.
